HADO AR (Augmented Reality) Sport – Things to do in Warwickshire
When I began writing content for this website my youngest was just a baby! Now that life has moved on, we are naturally in search of activities for more varied ages. A few weeks ago we found this little-known local activity, so I thought I’d share it here. (To be clear, this isn’t a sponsored post, just a recommendation from us).
This Christmas I found myself a little stuck for things to buy the children in our lives, I have always loved the idea of gifting experiences so when local company HADO had been recommended by a friend of mine I thought I’d pop them a message to see if they offered gift vouchers, which they do 🙂 So I bought one for my son and my friend’s son as Christmas presents.
My son (9) loves gaming and is a huge football fan too so he’s really active in both aspects. HADO is a great combination of gaming & sport.
HADO is an AR (Augmented Reality) Sport where children from 6 years old (and adults if they like!) put on an AR headset and armband sensors and play one another firing energy balls and using their arms as shields. Those who want to take it further can even learn strategy and play in tournaments.

The children took part in a beginners session on a Sunday from 10 am to 11am and it cost £10. As you can see they had the place to themselves, with two other children and the HADO coach was great with them! The kids had a great time & I’m now being pestered for a party there! I’d recommend and it’s something a bit different, for me the combo of being active while being able to enjoy gaming was a winner!
