Where to pick your own fruit and vegetables in Warwickshire
A firm childhood favourite of mine is picking our own strawberries and of course munching a few on the way round! I thought I’d put the ones we’ve found into a guide for you all.
If you’re looking for some more canvas-worthy photos we also have information on lavender fields and the famous confetti fields, but you’ll have to be quick as they only open for a short while!
Red Road Garden Centre and PYO
Red Road, Kineton, CV35 0DH
Strawberries available for picking, when all have been picked the patch will close.
Red Road Farm often update their facebook page, so keep an eye on the fruit here.
September onwards you can pick apples, pears, plums and Autumn raspberries. Followed by pumpkins at Halloween, squash and sweet corn.

We have a variety of crops that we open for pick your own across the summer months these include the following fruit crops strawberries (late June), gooseberries (late June), raspberries (early July), blackcurrants (early July), redcurrants (early July) and blackberries (early August). We also grow a number of vegetable and flower crops for pyo: broad beans (late June), courgettes (mid July), runner beans (late July), marrows (late July), sunflowers (late July), squash (August), sweet corn (mid August) and pumpkins (late September).

Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe

Lower Clopton Farm Shop offers pick your own strawberries, raspberries and cherries throughout June and July. Picking is not available yet and they advise to check their Facebook page for updates.
Admission to the PYO is £2.00 per person (non-refundable) Children of 1 years old and under go free.

Pick Your Own Sunflowers
Lodge Farm, CV35 0JH (near Compton Verney).
Every Summer, (except last when the weather had been so awful) Lodge Farm in Kineton have a pick your own sunflowers, they’re 50p a stem and money goes in an honesty box.
Lodge Farm opens during the Summer months 10 – 5. Keep an eye on their Facebook page here for opening announcements.
Cotswold Lavender
Hill Barn Farm, Snowshill, Broadway, Worcestershire WR12 7JY
Cotswold Lavender is easy to find in the outskirts of the village of Snowshill. Not far from the National Trust Property Snowshill Manor.
In a typical English summer the lavender fields should start to come into flower mid June, with the best time to see them early-mid July but it can differ year to year with the weather. As well as Lavender fields, there’s also a wildflower meadow and a woodland trail for children.
The Lavender Fields will reopen on Friday 14th June until Sunday 4th August 2024 10-5
