Wrap Around Care Manager Job.
Go Go Makers recently received a “Highly Commended” award for the Best Independent Business of the Year at the Leamington Spa Business Awards and due to expansion we are looking for a Manager to join our friendly team! Go Go Makers run holiday camps, before & after school care and educational arts and crafts after school clubs in primary schools and our philosophy is “inspiring small minds to think big”. You will need to be able to fulfil our philosophy and be dedicated to providing the very best childcare for each and every child, in what will be a very rewarding role.
We are recruiting for an After School Manager, Breakfast Club Manager and Holiday Camp Manager, all, one or two of the roles can be applied for (please mention if you would like to be considered for more than this one).
Hours
After School hours are:
Monday to Thursday 3pm – 5.45pm
Friday 3pm – 4.30pm during the term time
plus the opportunity to work at our Holiday Camp during the half term and holidays from 7.45am until 5.30pm (Monday to Friday) but please note that we do not operate at Xmas, not on Bank Holidays and the last two weeks of the Summer holidays we close)
Breakfast Club is also an option to work as Breakfast Club Manager during the term time from 7.30am – 9am (optional). Admin hours are part of the role which are additional hours on top of the above hours above.

Your responsibilities will include:-
- Planning activities for the Club
- Maintaining our Ofsted overall “Good” rating (and “Good” in all areas) and be able to work towards achieving an “outstanding”
- Delivering (with a team of staff) quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- Keeping the club as organised and professional as possible
- Overseeing health and safety
- Maintaining/exceeding food hygiene “5”rating
- Carrying out EYFS tracking/working with others to complete them
- Communicating with parents/carers on a regular basis
- Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from school and delivering them safely to parents
- Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
- Providing refreshments and a light tea whilst ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met at all times
- Administering first aid when necessary
- Consulting with children and involving them in activities.
- Club administration
- Encouraging parental involvement in the club
- Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and
- Carry out observations and conducting risk assessments in line with the EYFS
- Conducting appraisals, quarterly reviews and regular support forms with all staff
- Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures, and the EarlyYears Foundation Stage
- Managing a small team
- Providing support and supervision to play workers/assistants, other staff and volunteers
- Carrying out appraisals
- Attend meetings and interviews
- Keeping the work space tidy and clean after use
- Provide daily reports on the club
- Working with the school/teachers to allow you to plan ahead for the club in line with the EYFS
- Being committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children
Essential skills required for the role:
- You must have experience of working with children
- Hold an appropriate qualification relating to children (Level 3 or above)
- Be able to manage a team (with proven experience)
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of how to provide high quality childcare/camps and what is necessary for a safe environment for the children
