Since we launched Mum Knows Best Warwickshire, our support & advice group on Facebook we have raised thousands of pounds for local charities. Most of the money raised has reached Warwick Hospital where we have funded two new chair beds for the maternity ward, allowing Dads to stay over night, where they wouldn’t usually have been able to. We have raised thousands of pounds for the Special Care Baby Unit and have most recently supported The Birth & Babies Appeal at the hospital, where we helped fundraise for the new Maternity Led Unit, which opened last year on site at Warwick Hospital.
The time has come for us to support a new charity & with so many incredible local charities surrounding us, I asked members to nominate those important to them. Those charities were then contacted and we asked them to send us a short two minute video, giving us a little more information about them and what they do.
