Back in 2010 I visited the Baby Show at the NEC, I was a new Mum looking for some innovative products that could help with the everyday ‘tricky bits’ every new Mum faces. As you can imagine, I spent a fortune on some faddy buys and gimmicks. It was at that baby show that I met Cara Sayer, the inventor and genius behind Snooze Shade. I am sure I am not alone when I say that Cara is probably the envy of most of us Mums who have uttered the words “someone should invent that” and actually made her fortune from doing just that!

It goes without saying that myself and my friend bought a snooze shade from Cara that day, and do you know, second only to my gro clock, it’s been one of my best baby buys ever!

That summer was literally boiling, I used my snooze shade on my Silver Cross POP throughout the whole summer, it was perfect! Long Summer walks .. SORTED!

The following year we headed off to our own wedding in Cyprus in July.. (yes, I am mad!) with our two year old, the snooze shade packed up in it’s little carry bag under our stroller ready for the journey, saving space in our luggage. Our daughter was so obsessed with the pool and swimming it was such a battle to get her to have a nap, so the pushchair was the only option for her sleep. So many people we spoke to commented on our Snooze Shade wishing they had one too.. UV protection and breathable fabric all in one, perfect for a Summer holiday.
