Could you be our next fantastic Mini First Aid trainer?
Mini First Aid Warwickshire is currently seeking an additional trainer to join our small friendly team of existing trainers!
The Job
Initially this role would involve running some of our 2 hour baby and child first aid classes, but you would also be working towards running classes for children and possibly qualification courses too.
If you live in Coventry or South Warwickshire in particular then this would be ideal for the role as many of classes you’d be running would take place in and around these areas.
This is a self employed freelance trainer position, and you will be responsible for your own tax and national insurance. This is ideal for someone who is looking for flexible work on their own terms. It would suit someone who already works part time, but is looking to add to their income or someone who is already self employed with another income stream.
The Hours:
The working pattern is quite varied, but good weekend availability is essential, and there will be some weekday work too, along with occasional evening classes.
This would not be a full time role but is likely to grow over time. Ideally I’d love someone long term who would work with me with increasing their responsibilities and hours over time. Please do get in touch for more details.
What we offer
- Excellent rates of pay
- Plenty of support and ongoing training and development within our small friendly team
- Flexible work
- Feel good factor and job satisfaction going home from a class knowing that you have taught people how to save a life!
Who we’re looking for
- Ideally you would hold a full current First Aid at work certificate and Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or be willing to get them). It would be fantastic if you already hold a level 3 teaching and training qualification (or be willing to work towards it).
- Applications are particularly welcome from qualified teachers with experience working in primary school settings, as our early years and kids classes which are held in schools across the region are very popular.
- You need to be a confident communicator and passionate about helping people of all ages learn vital life saving skills.
- You must also have a full driving licence, access to a vehicle and be happy to run sessions across Coventry, Warwickshire & Tamworth.
