Cook Stars Class Leader Job – South Warwickshire – Warwick/ Leamington and Rugby
Who we are:
Cook Stars offers weekly children’s cooking classes to children age 2 – 12 years and we have now expanded to offer teen and adult classes and work within schools. Our classes are friendly, fun and interactive. We provide everything that is needed at our classes to teach children how to make their own delicious dish from scratch. We also host birthday parties. Why we’re recruiting:
With planned expansion we are looking for part time class leaders to join our team. We require flexibility as new classes are being introduced. We are also increasingly being asked to provide school sessions within Warwickshire, so the role is evolving and growing all the time.
What is involved?
You will be provided with everything you need to run your classes. Each half term you will receive lesson plans and activity plans for each week, recipe cards, a list of children attending the classes and a list of ingredients you will need to shop for weekly (you will of course be reimbursed for ingredients).
Advertising, marketing and bookings will be dealt with centrally.
Classes last 1 hour 15 minutes. You will also be paid for preparation and clearing away time. There is great opportunity to increase earnings helping run birthday parties and also selling merchandise.
Am I the right person for the job?
Applicants will need to hold or obtain a DBS (formally CBR check). You will also need to hold or obtain a Food Hygiene 2 Certificate as well as have attended a first aid course. We can advise and help you with all of this! You will also need to be a driver and car owner.
We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, passionate about cooking and love working with children. You do not need to be a teacher or a trained chef or have any experience in teaching cooking. We want friendly people who share our ambition to provide quality classes to our wonderful customers.

The rewards
You will receive a rate per class and there is also great opportunity to increase earnings helping run birthday parties and also selling merchandise. The roles are part time so there is plenty of opportunity for a great work / life balance. More than anything, being a Cook Stars class leader is so much fun and extremely rewarding! We all think we have the best job ever!!
