Aubrey Allen Foodhall in Leamington Spa shop is looking for a part-time admin assistant to work flexible hours Monday to Friday as part of a fantastic, energetic retail team.

Experience is preferred but training is available.

Job Title – Admin Assistant – Part-time

Location – Leamington Spa

Hours required – 20-24 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday

Pay Scale – £18,000 pro rata

Brief Job Description 

The main tasks include but are not limited to;

  • Answering of incoming calls to the shop in a timely manner
  • Taking of customer orders by telephone and email
  • Answering of customer queries by telephone and email
  • Handling of customer commendations and complaints
  • Cashing up
  • Ordering & collection of change
  • Completing staff timesheets weekly for payroll
  • Processing of staff holiday requests
  • Management of the in-house loyalty card scheme including data input, queries
  • Ordering of sundries, work wear & stationery
  • Management of butchery school bookings and evenings for the shop manager
  • Processing charity requests
  • Updating of restaurant website and processing menu changes

The applicant must be well presented, have an excellent telephone manner, customer service experience, excellent organisational skills and be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team.

Warning: position involves tasting delicious food on a regular basis.
