We have been delighted with the Jack n Jill range so far, so, while we let go of lots of the fabulous products in our range to our Mum’s Panel, we HAD to keep a couple for ourselves.
We have a little boy who is 18 months now, and as with many toddlers his age, we have been having trouble for some time with the tooth brushing situation. He will happily chew on his own toothbrush, but when it comes to us actually moving the brush around his little teeth, its a no go! So, as you can imagine we are feeling a little stressed!
I spotted this tooth & gum brush, which as you can see by the picture, isn’t the most beautiful thing in the world! Does our 18 month old care about this? Does he heck. We took it out of the packaging swiftly, popped on a little Jack n Jills Banana toothpaste.. and well.. I’m thinking my pictures will speak a thousand words.
It’s been two weeks since we first tried this brush. I wanted to see if the novelty would wear off. It hasn’t!
I am so pleased to have finally given my little man the independence he’s obviously craving, and whilst he still won’t let me move it around his mouth to ‘brush’ i feel so much more confident that he is doing a much better job of cleaning his teeth than before because the bristles work on upper and lower teeth at the same time.
The Sillicone tooth and gum brush is a very soft and bendy material so it means he can get to his back teeth far easier than with a longer traditional toothbrush, which I’m guessing does feel like a foreign object to a little one.
I am in hope that he will gradually get used to the textured feeling of this brush and make the transition a bit better later on.
I doubt I need to tell you that we have been delighted with this product and it certainly gets our 5* rating. Take It From Mummy would 100% recommend any parents who are having a tricky time in the teeth brushing department to give this one a whirl!
